Sinemet CR is a drug that inhibits the decarboxylase filament, has antiparkinsonian and dopaminergic effects.
The drug is used for parkinsonism syndrome, Parkinson’s disease, postencephalitic syndrome.

Composition and analogues of the drug.

The main active enzyme in the composition are: levodopa and carbidop.
Analogues: Madopar, Levodop / Carbidop, Duellin, Zymox, Izikom, Nakom, Sindopa, Striaton, Tremonorm.

How does the drug work?

This drug eliminates dysphagia, hypokinesia and tremor, salivation, rigidity. Levodopa is converted to dopamine in the central nervous system and replenishes the deficiency in the central nervous system. The effect begins to appear after 24 hours.

How to use and dosage.

Take orally 3 times a day after meals.
The maximum daily dose is 6 tablets per day.

Side effects and contraindications.

Side effects: anorexia, dry mouth, diarrhea, constipation, dark saliva, vomiting, anemia, headaches, sleep disturbance, urticaria, itching, dark sweating, increased sweating, asthenia, chest pain.
Contraindications: glaucoma, hypersensitivity, melanoma, age up to 18 years.
