Description

KEFTAB is a 1st generation cephalesporin antibiotic. It is prescribed for such diseases as: pharyngitis, otitis media, sinusitis, sore throat, bronchitis, pneumonia, lung abscess, pyelonephritis. Inflammation of the genitourinary system – cystitis, urethritis, prostatitis, infections of the skin of bacterial origin and soft tissues, diseases of the joints.

Composition and analogues of the drug:

The main active ingredient is cefelaxin monohydrate. Excipients: magnesium stereate, microcrystalline cellulose.
Analogues of the drug: Cefalexin, Zolin, Intrazolin, Lysolin, Nacef, Cesolin, Cefazolin, Cefalotin J.

How to use and dosage.

Apply inside with water up to 30-60 minutes before meals. Thus, it is digested faster in the stomach and distributed throughout the body. The daily dose should not exceed at least 1-2 grams.

Side effects and contraindications.

Side effects: rash, urticaria, angioedema, abdominal pain, dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, anorexia, dizziness, weakness, headache, hallucinations, convulsions.
Contraindications: children under 3 years of age, hypersensitivity to this drug.
