Cefaclor is a 2nd generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It is used to treat acute and chronic infectious inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract: laryngitis, tonsillitis, otitis, sinusitis, pharyngitis, skin and soft tissue infections, as well as kidney and urinary tract infections: cystitis, urethritis and much more.

Composition and Analogues.

Composition: the main active ingredient is: cefaclor monohydrate.
Analogues: Ceklor, Aksetin, Aksosef, Ambicef, Anaerocef,
Antibioxim.

How does the drug work?

Like all antibiotics, this drug destroys the DNA system of the virus, which prevents its reproduction and growth in the future, due to the death of bacteria, inflammation in the body of a sick person decreases, pain and inflammation disappear.

How to use and dosage.

Capsules are recommended to be washed down with a small amount of water. The dosage is selected individually by the doctor, as it depends on many criteria, on the age of the patient, on the diagnosis, as well as on the patient’s body weight.

Side effects and contraindications.

Side effects: skin rash, skin itching, itching in the genital area, fever, shortness of breath, dizziness, headache, agitation, anxiety, confusion, dizziness, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.
