Description

Cartia XT is a calcium channel blocker, a benzothiazepine derivative, with antianginal, antiarrhythmic, and hypotensive effects.
It is used in the treatment of: arterial hypertension, hypertensive crisis, mitral valve prolapse. Treatment of coronary heart disease. Treatment and prevention of myocardial infarction. Arrhythmias of various types. Essential arrhythmic tremor. Hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy.

How to take and dosage.

Take orally before meals.
From 30 mg 3-4 times a day. The maximum daily dose is 180-300 mg. In diseases of the kidneys or liver, as well as in the elderly, 30 mg 2 times a day, taking into account the heart rate.
